Women's Health

PCOD, PCOS and cycle concerns — with time to take a proper history

Typical duration: 3–6 months typical for PCOS-focused care

What this programme is for

Women's health consultations here are built around the complaints patients search for most — PCOD and PCOS — and around the practical details that short appointments usually skip: cycle pattern, weight, skin, energy and what has already been tried.

Ayurveda's contribution is often strongest on the metabolic side — digestion, weight trajectory and inflammatory background — rather than as a replacement for hormonal treatment where that is genuinely indicated. We work alongside your gynaecologist when needed.

Items marked for confirmation (menstrual irregularities, infertility-related concerns) are listed from the doctor's notes but phrased conservatively until exact terminology is verified.

Therapies used

  • Ayurvedic Consultation
  • Abhyanga
  • Shirodhara
  • Virechana (where indicated)
  • Supportive internal medication

You may also recognise these presenting complaints:

  • Irregular or unpredictable cycles
  • Weight gain with acne or facial hair in a PCOS pattern
  • Painful or heavy periods that interfere with work
  • Difficulty conceiving — adjunctive support only
Sudden severe pain, progressive weakness, loss of bladder or bowel control, chest pain, or unexplained weight loss need emergency assessment, not an appointment. Please go to a hospital.

Sometimes as a co-management plan, sometimes not. Where metformin or hormonal treatment is doing necessary work we keep it and treat alongside. We will not ask you to stop anything unilaterally.
